On another note…

I was excited this last weekend because I was able to speak at a men’s retreat for New Life Christian Center in Turlock, CA at Camp Chinquapin.  I was able to offer two breakout sessions on Dealing with Anxiety.  God has shown me over the years how a seemingly small issue like anxiety makes people run away from the great plans God has for them. Although that’s troubling enough, ultimately anxiety, unchecked, leads them into disobedience, causing pain and loss in their lives.

I have seen God grace in my life in that area as well. I was able to use the example of Saul’s life and how his anxiety led him on a path to disobedience that cost him everything.  I was also able offer a coping tool showing how to combat anxiety. This healing method has made a huge difference in my family’s life over the last 25+years.
