We at Pete Thompson Christian Counseling want you to rest assured that even in this time of crisis God is still in charge. We don’t know what is going to happen from one day to the next, but God does.

God’s people don’t worry about the future because our future has already been determined. God knows the number of hairs on your head, he knows your name, and knows the allotted time you are to remain on earth before going home. We are not prisoners of fear, perpetuated by our culture or the news. We are different. We have answers.We are a people for such a time as this.

I would encourage you to use this time of isolation to recharge, refocus, and prepare to be sent out by God. After all, we do not  have a spirit of fear-

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

-2 Timothy 2:7

Pete is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas, California, Florida, and Arizona. He is a member of the Focus on the Family Christian Counselors Network, the Southern Baptist Convention Counseling Network, and Texas Baptist Counseling Services. He has been a practicing believer in Christ for over 46 years. He counsels clients both at his home office in Texas, and across the United States and overseas via the Internet. Pete has worked in the mental health field for over 35 years. He combines a cognitive behavioral approach with the infinite resources of knowledge found in God’s Holy word, the Bible. He specializes in Coping Skills, offering his clients specific tools that assist in dealing with life’s stressors. He grew up in California’s Central Valley but now resides in Lantana, Texas with his wife, Lynne, of 34 years marriage, they have two adult children.
